THE STEERING WHEEL - THE MAN BEHIND

CHAIRMAN : Shri. Kamal Mehta is the chairman of the trust. He is a chartered accountant by profession but an educationist by vocation. He has under his gamut a string of educational institutes each of which is respected and sought after by students. Quality consciousness is his driving force.

PRINCIPAL : Prof. Bharat M. Mody is the principal. A post-graduate of 1981 from one of the oldest dental institute - GDCH, Mumbai. He has been in the field of dental education since then. His multi-faceted achievements range from scientific development, administration, teaching, and community service.

THE FOUNDATION - THE INFRASTRUCTURE :

COLLEGE : The college is 16kms away from Jodhpur, on a 5.78 acre land with a total built up area of more than 1,00,000 sq. ft.

GENERAL HOSPITAL : The college has on its campus a 100 bedded hospital with a daily inflow of over 150 patients. The General hospital and Dental college is a boon to the entire area of western Rajasthan.

STATE-OF-THE-ART TEACHING : The college boasts of the latest equipments and expert manpower. The teaching faculty is both experienced and up-to-date with the latest in dentistry. The teaching lays emphasis on the development of intellectual psycho-motor and communication skills and computer application. Development of learning skills rather than didactic teaching is our aim.
LIBRARY : An internet ready library with latest editions of books and journals forms the back-up for the students. The library has CD-ROMS, VIDEO CASSETTES, for advanced learning. The data base on the computer contains e-books and question bank for anytime tests.

CARE : College & Hospital promises the state of the art dental treatment. The treatment will be either done by a competent professional or supervised with a conservative approach.

SERVICE : The institute is committed towards upliftment of the community using preventive procedures and total oral rehabilitation.

EDUCATION : More learning oriented techniques, with computer assisted and audio-visual supplements. A structured course with inputs from continuing education and optional subjects.

RESEARCH : In house material science developments, clinical trials and foundation for basic research in four years is the objective.
