THE INSTITUTE

M.E.C.R.C. was established in the year 2003 to promote quality education in engineering & technology specially for the local youth in the desert area of Marwar (Western Rajasthan) with a view to exploit the local resources of the arid area. M.E.C.R.C. is affiliated to the University of Rajasthan, Jaipur and approved by A.I.C.T.E. New Delhi, for (BE) degree Program. Keeping in view the emerging economy's needs and opportunities for business as well as employment M.E.C.R.C. offers degree courses in core engineering subjects like Computer Science, Electronics & Communications, Electrical Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. M.E.C.R.C. also lays emphasis on Indian culture, heritage and human values.

To foster the intellectual social emotional physical spiritual and aesthetic development of the students in order to enhance their quality of life.

To prepare students for active and independent learning in an environment which inculcates spirit of inquiry and healthy competition.

To enable students to contribute to decisions about their future and help them to crystallizing their goal.

To evoke and inculcate in students a pride for cultural heritage of India coupled with the best from modern education and adopting them according to the need of the hour.

M.E.C.R.C. has developed its campus over an area of 96 bigha, with the entire infrastructure, essential for a good engineering college. It has also developed necessary facilities for day scholars and intending hostellers. Now the emphasis of M.E.C.R.C. while adding new facilities is, that these should facilitate in tapping a students' potential to fullest extent in an atmosphere of harmony. Due to the local building material used the building reflects the local architecture style.

Location

M.E.C.R.C. is located in Jodhpur City, which is also known as "Sun City". Jodhpur is well connected with rail, road and air. M.E.C.R.C. is 22 km. from Jodhpur railway station in a peaceful and pollution free surrounding. National highway no. 28 comes up to M.E.C.R.C..
